Very shocking! It was an unimaginable situation even for the non-Vijay fans as they were completely appalled looking at empty theatres of ‘Sura’ screening. On Wednesday, one of the biggest theatres in Chennai had delayed the show time precisely looking out for more audiences. Finally, with no options left the film started off with 20 audiences.
Usually, film shows with such low numbers will be cancelled and it had happened with some of theprevious week’s releases.
Since, it was a big banner and with accordance to the requests of some film crew, the show was held and that had merely resulted for the loss of theatre owners. Not alone in this theatre, but most of the theatres were empty by Wednesday as the viewers after reading reviews wanted to stay away from it.a
